Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, provides administrative and technical support for Microsoft, Citrix XenServer & XenApp Servers supporting an end user environment. Installs and tests software applications and provide detailed informative documentation regarding installation, support and compatibility issues. Manages server performance and maintain server application and access security.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field, or equivalent training in the area of Citrix server support. Technical training supplemented with continuing education courses/seminars. Without a technical degree, 4 years of technical experience in server management with at least 1 year experience in a team lead or supervisory role with a minimum of 1 year of Health Care Industry experience a plus.
Experience: Typically, three years of technical experience in server management and application integration. Proficiency in XenServer and Citrix required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient in the creation and deployment of applications within a virtual environment. (Citrix Streaming Technologies
Certifications and Licenses:
MCSA or MCSE certification preferred. CCA, CCEA or CCIA Certification preferred
